The last time I had photographed Stephanie’s family, her boy was 6 months old. It was so great reconnecting with them and meeting their sweet daughter!

She loves her big brother…

And she loves being independent…

Big brother loves to talk your ear off, especially about all things human body! This kid can name pretty much every bone in the body. It is seriously impressive.

Little sister loves to laugh and giggle and laugh some more. She can sign all sorts of words, too! She is amazing.

And together, this family has a LOT of fun!

During story time, mom and daughter signed together some of the words from the book…

Meanwhile Big Brother was informing me of the location of my metacarpals.

It was a fun morning with all of them! I can’t wait to go back again.

This is another family that came from out of town for photos! These sisters are from Richmond, Virginia and were in Vegas with their parents for a few days before heading to the Grand Canyon for a hike. I am so glad I had the opportunity to photograph them. They are both super cute, and I just love this age!

Sisters sharing secrets. Just typing that was hard. Try saying it five times fast!

Las Vegas Newborn Photography | Sweet Baby Boy

It’s so fun capturing newborns in their first few days at home. Everything is just so new and wonderful.

And sometimes you get a baby boy who really loves being home with his mama!

Mommy and Daddy are adoring their newest family member. Seriously, aren’t they all gorgeous? I feel like they should be models for “adorable new families dot com” – that has to be a website, right?

They couldn’t take their eyes off their sweet baby. Can’t blame them. He’s a cutie pie!

I think this couple wins for traveling the farthest for family photos. They were actually here in Las Vegas visiting friends. They are photographers in Tunisia, Africa, so next time you are out there, you should check them out… 5 Fifteen Photography

Their sweet daughter was no stranger to the camera, thanks to having a mommy and daddy who do this for a living. It was so fun to watch her ham it up for me!

And even funnier was this outtake – as mom and dad tried to redirect her to where the actual photographer was! LOL!

It was a beautiful day and a perfect time for pictures.

Meet Little Sister. She’s 6 months old and just as sweet as can be.

This is Big Sister. She loves cooking things in the kitchen, especially if it’s for Pooh Bear (notice Pooh is in the sink)

These two sisters are so adorable together.

I love that even at this young age that bond between them is forming.

And having two sisters of my own, I think I speak from experience.

These girls will be friends forever.

Kimberly called me to photograph the first birthday of her little boy. I had also photographed her oldest son on his first birthday, too, and I was excited to have another great session with them.

I love that he has one tiny tooth you can just barely see! And see that cute doggy toy? Her big brother has a lion. They take pictures with their toys each month so Kimberly can document how they grow. I wonder if it’s too late to start that with my own kids? haha!

I love this beautiful, colorful quilt Kimberly brought for the boys! Color is my favorite!

Grandma has come along to wrangle the boys, and mom and dad had the opportunity to steal away for a quick moment. This is my favorite capture of the two of them. Seriously… swoon! I love it SO much!

I was so happy when Caline called me to say she had another beautiful, healthy baby boy. I couldn’t wait to come meet him, because I knew he would be absolutely beautiful. And he was!

He was also incredibly alert – he wasn’t interested in sleeping for me one bit. No matter, I like those bright eyes!

Now big brother? He was still getting used to the new person in the house.

Big Brother is not sure why everyone likes the new baby. He doesn’t DO anything! It’s way more fun to play around and be silly.

Proud daddy loves his healthy newborn baby boy.

And mama adores him, too!

He is pretty cute! I mean look at those cheeks!

Las Vegas Couples Photography | Romance in the Orchard

Last fall I got to spend a lovely session with Regina and Justin. They’ve been married a few years, but other than their wedding photos, they haven’t had updated pictures of the two of them. We decided to rectify that, so we took a little walk through the orchard.

After picking some apples, they sat down for a little picnic…

I love that they wanted to celebrate their relationship together. I wish I had photos of these from my young married life.

I love spending afternoons in a park with a family, especially with toddlers. They are fascinated by everything around them!

And this is one of my favorite parks, Tule Springs. So much to see and do and explore!

Las Vegas Family Photography | Informally Formal Family Portraits

A few months ago, Tonya called me to photograph her family before a special event. They were all dressed up in black tie garb and they figured since it wasn’t something they did on a regular basis, it would be fun to capture some great photos… I am so glad she called me! We had a great relaxed session in their backyard in the afternoon just before the event, and everyone looked amazing!

My favorite thing she did was order a family collage to hang on her wall with her favorite images from the day. Check it out!

This is a wonderful choice to make when you don’t have a ton of wall space but still want to include several images on the wall. This 20×24 print is now framed and hung in their entry way for everyone to see when they come by! I love it!
