Beautiful photos of a beautiful family on the most amazing journey of their lives! I have been a long time follower of Tisra’s blog (our daughter is adopted from Taiwan) and seeing these photos brought tears to my eyes as I celebrated their long awaited meeting with their sweet Dorothy. They are so lucky to have such vivid and stunning images to document their first days with her. Truly a gift of love. Thank you for sharing them.

Wow! I have been following Tisra’s adoption journey since it began and these blog posts are amazing! I have cried every time I look at the last post where Dorothy is grinning ear to ear in the bed. SO SWEET!! Your photos capture their emotion like nothing else could have for those of us who couldn’t be there in person. Thank you so much for doing this and sharing! It is truly touching.

I found this blog through Kate Hamernick. I am an adoptive mom that will be traveling to China in 2010 to bring my son home. He is a SN child that is 7 years old. My desires in my heart is to have a Christian professional photographer to accompany us (since we will be first time parents) on the trip to capture the once in a lifetime moment. I am just blown away with your work and compassion. Please do not let this be your last adoption trip! My husband and I run a non-profit organization “Our Creators Hope” that offers adoption grants to families adopting domestically and internationally. We need professional photographers to capture the moments that these children and families experience during the adoption process so we can help promote adoption and orphan ministry.
