Beat the summer heat and capture your family in a fun, quick photo session with fantastic results!

If you’ve never tried Speckled Bird Art and want to see what we are all about, or if you want a quick update of your family portraits, this is the session for you! Appointments last approximately 15-20 minutes and yield about 15 image choices. Session times available on the half hour, by appointment only. Please call for up to date scheduling availability.

I really like this family. A lot.

Melissa wanted me to capture a series of photos to hang on their wall of everyone just being themselves. I love how they turned out.

I also love the extended family photos…

Certain teenage boys can be hard to wrangle.

Of course, apparently the apple doesn’t fall far from the proverbial tree.

They chose this one to hang on their wall as a large canvas print. Great choice!

Also. I love this collage of the brothers. They crack me right up.

Session fee includes photography of 1-2 pets and one human (optional). If you have more pets/people additional fees will apply. You will receive at least 5 images in a private, online gallery from which to choose your favorites. A single 4×6 print of your favorite image is included in the $29 fee. Additional prints, products, and packages are available for purchase. Please bring your pet on a leash. Speckled Bird Art does not assume responsibility for pet behavior. All pet sessions are scheduled in 15 minute increments so each pet can be given individual attention and time. We will have treats and toys to entertain your pet. Last fall, I met Sarah and her family at the local orchard, just after sunrise. The light was amazing and golden and beautiful and perfect.

And their sweet boy was absolutely adorable.

Big Sister thought the orchard was amazing! She picked apples for us all morning.

It was a perfect day for apple picking! I am so glad we came out to the orchard for this fun session.

Las Vegas Family Photography | Enjoying the Birds at the Park

It was a beautiful day in the park when we took these family photos. Even the peacocks thought so! It was hilarious. This outtake was one of MANY that took place, because every time we turned around, a bird was attempting to get into our shot. I decided the mama had to be a closet bird-whisperer

They are SUCH a cute family!

We took a walk over to the suspension bridge, where the girls performed a “fashion show” for me. I LOVED IT

Las Vegas Family Photographer | Saying Goodbye to Another Wonderful Family

Sigh. Another one of my favorite families… Another family that I have been photographing for years (since the twins were born!)… I look forward to our session every year. This one, though, is our final one in Las Vegas. They’ve found their dream home and are moving closer to family in New Mexico. I am so, so sad to see them go…
