Here’s a third installment of the images from Peter and Ashley’s Big Day… this time, from the reception! The Bridal Party made a grand entrance, with each group choosing their favorite poses to strike as they arrived… You be the judge as to which entrance was the best! (my vote is for Peter and his amazing leap into the hall!)

Once the Newlyweds arrived, they went around the reception hall high-fiving all the guests! What a cool way to interact with everyone!

After high-fives all around, it was time for the most AMAZING catered brunch. Deep fried poached eggs, homemade smoked bacon, fresh jams and jellies on homemade toast, and authentic Belgian waffles (with a recipe straight from the Belgian consulate!)… Chef Derek Walker is one INCREDIBLE caterer. Wedding food isn’t supposed to taste this good, and I am not kidding when I say that bacon was DIVINE.

While people enjoyed their amazing food, the couple was toasted… first by Peter’s “best (wo)man” Vanessa…

… then by Ashley’s sister, Kristie…

… and, finally, Peter Brown, Peter’s Best Man.

Each person had amazing words to share that made us all laugh, and also touched our hearts. It was a beautiful time to listen to the words of encouragement from all of them.

And after the speeches… DANCING!

Father of the Groom danced with the bride…

and the Mother of the Bride danced with the groom…

Then came time for the Tossing of the Bouquet. I am not going to lie. These women were CUTTHROAT.

Notice in this next image… the lovely lady in the green is HOLDING THE BOUQUET. The bridesmaids have no idea, however, and start fighting for what they think is the bouquet, but in reality is just scraps…

Notice, again. The bouquet is safely in the hands of the Lovely Lady in Green. Meanwhile, it’s getting knock-down and drag-out on the floor… shoes were flying, roses were being torn apart, and finally the two were broken up only to realize their battle was for naught. Of course, it did make for entertaining photos!

The gentlemen were much more reserved. Can you see the (blue) garter flying? These guys were READY.

AND THE WINNER! Without throwing a single punch or any bloodshed at all! Way to play it clean, guys![]()

The afternoon continued on with plenty of dancing, drinks, and fun, including the “Equinox Toast” here…

Peter and Ashley, you sure know how to throw a party! Grand entrances, touching speeches, amazing food, high-fives all around, and even chicks wrestling! WOW! Way to go.![]()
